Its very rare that I actually come out from behind the lens… however at times I actually do!
Yesterday early morning, my kids and I were sitting out on our deck eating breakfast, it was just beautiful out, hot already, but beautiful. The lighting was absolutely amazing – hazy and soft light. So I just couldn’t pass up taking a few photos of my babes. While doing so my son (almost 5) made a deal with me… I could take his photo if he could take mine! So I agreed. I took photos of my son and daughter, he then took some photos of me – Im pretty impressed if I do say so myself and now have an updated photo of me!
I am quite honored and excited to be involved with a local company, Pike Lake Golf & Country Club Resort, which is located just outside of Mount Forest. They are celebrating a very special year in business in 2011 – 50 years! I have promised to not share images until after their anniversary celebration – after which I will have even more to share 🙂 Looking forward to this!
This is the first year that I am involved in this event, Portraits In The Park. This event is a fundraiser to raise money for Infertility Awareness. Something that is very near and dear to my heart, which cannot unfortunately be completely understood until you have been through it. I am very excited and proud to be involved in this fundraiser and look forward to many more wonderful years in helping raise money for this cause.
Photo Sessions – With the summer being so busy (for me as well) I am receiving interest for late August + Fall Sessions, if you are interested in booking a family session with me (couples/children/family) or even a wedding please contact me asap to book a spot! You can email me at EMAIL PAM.
Of course since I mentioned the beautiful light and also briefly about my own personal connection to the Portraits In The Park event, of course I have to share one of my beautiful babies! Perhaps having gone through what we did for our son is one of the strong reasons why Photography means as much as it does to me… here they are!
