The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot.

The bad news is time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot. Michael Altshuler

From myself and my family to my clients and your family, I wish you all the best during this holiday season, much health, happiness and love in the upcoming new year 2012!

Life is short, life is what you make it. As a wife and mother my photography is my own way of capturing our life and treasuring these moments we share together.

“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them  ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s  Day.” Edith Lovejoy Pierce, quoted by  ThinkExist.com .

For this year, for myself I there is a very important part of me who is brand new, a part of my family which is brand new because of my personal change. A part of my life that was a challenge, yet the most inspiring challenge ever. I end this year not with any regret or wishes of what could or should have happened but what a new year will bring to me and my family. 2012 is a book that at 12 midnight we will open. Our blank pages to be filled with much love, health and happiness.

The past few years we and our family have had our share of challenges, however what has truly gotten us through them is our love and support for each other. Heading into the new year I truly have so much to be thankful for, so much to look forward to and so much to enjoy.

I am not one to make resolutions, lets face it they are just something to haunt you into bending the rules ;P However I am one to think of the amazing things that I know are going to happen this year!  The things that make me smile, my husband and our time together, our children – each of them a reflection of who we are, each of them their own amazing little personalities, each of them full of an abundance of love, joy and FUN to be had with us, our family and close friends, our pets our family would not be complete without them, my photography, our family love of boating and time at the family cottage.

Since moving to our new house, this has truly opened a new book for us and already we have begun to fill the pages with so much love and fun. I treasure looking back over the photos from our year, how not only I have changed, how my husband and children have as well, my life.

Of course not without forgetting my Photography. As I have always said, next to my family it truly is my passion. Also a passion within my family. Next to my love and time spent with my children, Photography is the greatest gift I can give them, everyday of our lives.

With all of that… I am taking a quick moment away from my family to share some of our memories over the Christmas holidays. I truly hope your Christmas and New Years is and was spent with those you love and when you look back at 2011 you can smile as you begin the next chapter of life!
