The relationship between a Daddy and his Daughter is something that is very precious. From the first time she grabs his finger or cuddles into his neck, when she calls him Daddy for the first time. Much like Daddy and his son have their own special bond, each are very much their own, a bond that with much love and time spent will continue to grow and get stronger with each passing day.
I absolutely treasure seeing my husband with each of the kids, capturing moments of their time together, of their special bond. One day she will look back on these images and much like I do with my own dad, feel a sense of pride, love and respect in an even greater way of her Dad and the love and protection he has for her.
Being a parent, a true parent to your child you embrace each stage of their life, each gesture of their small personality and never for a second, question their love. They very much are our life and we truly are theirs!
One of my husband’s favourite songs is a country fishing song… it sings about a Daddy out fishing with his daughter and the line that always gets Jaz is “… and she think’s we’re just fishing…” its time together that creates these bonds and moments to treasure!
