Life Logics & Friday free for all…

On this Friday I get to enjoy being home with my kids… I say “enjoy” very loosely as they are both not feeling well, more the miss and I am about to fall over I am so tired! Its been a long week with them not sleeping and not feeling good. Reminds me of the newborn days and I think to myself – how did I function… lol! How did I function? Well I did. I didn’t have a puppy to watch every second, good old Elwood was very trusting and stayed by my side and I could nap when the baby napped. Our house certainly looks like those early newborn days lol.

Good news is hubby and I had a “surprise” date night last night that was simply fantastic! We went and saw Harvey at the Drayton Entertainment St Jacobs Playhouse Theatre. It was fantastic! First we had dinner at Jacks, which is just a parking lot away before enjoying the live entertainment!

Seems everyone is getting or is sick… even I am feeling quite crappish having cared for our weary children this past weekend and week. Both hubby and I are quite thankful that when we moved last year we made the jump to a King Size Bed… it has come in handy having the 4 of us snuggled in there a few nights this week.

At least if they have to be sick, their spirits are good and they are quite happy resting…

After a week like this, the following quote is well fitting! Life Logics… gone is the time when people did what they believed to be right and putting the feelings of others as a top priority. Its almost sad how this world has changed and has become much more self centered with lacking morals and values. I read a tweet the other day…

“Those who live with no regrets, fearless and free? or irresponsible and lack accountability? This could start quite the debate…”

Personally… it depends. There are two types of people who live with no regrets, the ones who live with no regrets by doing the right things and those who live with no regrets by doing whatever they want, not caring who or what they hurt.

Right in line with the life logics, these 7 points are so very true.

However those who live with no regrets thinking they are fearless and free – there is another word for them, selfish. They do not care about anyone except themselves. They speak words and act in ways that damage relationships and hurt peoples feelings, yet these types of people are immune to even being capable to feel compassion or love to those they hurt in their path to “live the life they want to”. These people are constantly comparing themselves to everyone else and trying to one-up. They complain non-stop and are extremely negative about everything and everyone.
These are the types of people who claim they “live with no regrets” and in time realize they were close to or did lose it all.

Then there is the other group of people who their belief’s of living with no regrets is being happy, spending your life with people you enjoy being around who are positive and bring out the best in you. They appreciate all they have and aim for goals they would like to achieve. These people realize that it takes hard work to achieve anything in life, be it in relationships or the workplace, family and gaining posessions. Its ok to not know the answer to everything and rely on others for support. This group of people life life to the fullest, yet do save for a rainy day. Ensure all necessities are met and when its right, make that large purchase they’ve been waiting for. They realize that good things do come to those who wait – but those who are waiting are those working very hard to reap the rewards.

Happy Firday the 13th all!
