A Very Merry Christmas With Wonderful Family <3

Today, on Christmas morning our kids were SO excited – was such an amazing moment, hearing first our son get up, then his excited voice as he went to wake his sister up. Hearing the excitement in their voices as well as their patience at times being tested to the extreme – for a kid at Christmas of course!

We are so very lucky to have already celebrated Christmas with family 3 times before today AND get to celebrate again tomorrow with more family. This truly is what the meaning of the season is, family & love.

I have a lot of photos over the past few days and have no where near gotten through them, however I did make sure to get these photos edited tonight after we arrived home from mom & dads – our “annual” family Christmas photo. Not perfect, but hey its perfectly us 🙂

We always try to get one of the two of us, after all “it’s all because two people fell in love, is where our family began”… Of course we have some fun outtakes to share, another day! This mama is tiiiired !

So thankful that we do have so much family to spend this wonderful time of year with, so thankful for the time we can spend together during Christmas as well as the rest of the year. Also remembering those who are always watching down on us from heaven. It truly is these loved ones who remind us daily to never take for granted any time we are given, it is a gift and should be appreciated as well as spent with family. One person who is in heaven, who we truly wish our kids could have met is their Grama Zmija… I truly am thankful that our kids do have an awesome relationship with my own parents, I am also thankful that their Granpa Zmija is a part of their lives. It truly is the generational family time together that really warms my heart, especially during the Christmas season. Seeing our children interact with our parents, our siblings, their cousins, their great aunts/uncles and their great grama’s its a blessing, a truly amazing blessing!

Things may happen over the years between loved ones, however they truly can be minor bumps in the major highway we call life ❤ For this, I am grateful, one possession I will name that I can truly say I am SO thankful for is my camera for capturing all our children’s and family moments together, moments that tomorrow are memories, treasured memories!

Wishing you all the best, hope you had a wonderful Christmas Day spending it with those you love. This mama is off to bed!
