This photo below was taken by our daughter, our lil man after a very fulfilling Fondue dinner over a few hours fell asleep at 1130pm however our daughter and our friends daughter stayed up to ring in the new year – and of course our lil miss was the designated photographer fill in hehehe! This photo is completely NOT in focus, she focused in between us and into our kitchen lol, however I love this image – love it! Us with two of our best friends having a blast, packed with so many memories and fun!

If there is one thing I have most certainly learned as a mother is time goes fast! So fast. Live in the moment and capture those moments, regardless of how you look or if you aren’t “prepared”, life does not wait and neither should we! Moms – get in front of the camera. Not only with your kids, but with your man and of yourself. God forbid anything happens to you, I know I want my children to not only have these memories of me and us as a family, but these images to treasure!!!

*Christmas Gift Note – My hubby got me something for Christmas that I have been wanting SO badly just haven’t done the research on which one to get etc – yes it takes me time to pick out anything to do with photography to ensure I am spending my money on the *right* product… Well bless his heart because he did that for me and got me one for Christmas – thrilled!!! I take quite a few family images throughout the year such as Christmas, Winter, Spring, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Our Birthday’s, Summer, Fall etc… so this is just amazing to have!!!*

Our lil man’s new years eve do! He LOVES having fondue and catered to his little sister who of course was busy with her own little friend (had her 1st sleepover!) he was just so cute being the “big” brother and helping us. Man they grow up waaaaay too fast!

Not only was hanging out with our friends a great part of New Years, a childhood friend of mine who I literally grew up with, dropped in for a visit, we have not seen each other in so.many.years – it was so wonderful to see her, catch up, laugh, have a couple drinks and be “us” – ketchup chips and all 😉

Cheers to a WONDERFUL 2013!!! From me, my family to all of you, our family, friends and my clients!
