Ever since meeting my husband, I knew he had talent.
One of those awesome talents is working with wood.
He can build some pretty spectacular structures!
It was a work weekend at the cottage, well many weekends are actually, being a part of a family cottage means putting forth work for the upkeep of it.
Ah we don’t mind, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to use this cottage, now in the 4th generation with our kids!!!
The men put their heads together at the cottage and this is the design that came out of it. Although hubs was not “allowed” to add his detail to the pergola that he thought would be the final touch, it looks outstanding!!! Still have some finishing touches and landscaping around the structure. The BBQ is completely built into the stone! Cool eh.
This was accomplished all in one long weekend!!!
