The Week Following Convention | 2016

Before going to convention I had heard about all the exciting things and I was seriously PUMPED to get there! Utah is 2 hours behind us, but our bodies didn’t know that. We had some midnight nights and one a little later with our bodies waking up at almost the same time here. So going to bed at midnight there and waking up at 530am… by the time we got home on Saturday I felt like a zombie LOL!

But it was FUN ! SO Much fun. I learned a lot… So much in fact that, although I had previously heard about all the excitement at the doTERRA Convention, I hadn’t heard about the excitement brain fog.

We learned a LOT! All amazing facts (sleep, women’s health, John Hopkins University research, new products, co-impact sourcing – so much more) however its almost like each day Im remembering something new haha!

This week however has flown by and I feel like Im hitting a ‘moms home from convention back to work and life’ brick wall! Since Ive been home my body has been on the go to bed at midnight routine (which is 10 in Utah so not bad lol). By tonight… Im exhausted! What I have learned more than ever is – this mama needs balance! Balance the essential oil blend and in general in life.

Last week truly was a breath of fresh air for this mama. As much as I was scared and nervous to be away from home for that long. I realized just how much I needed it – for me.With returning home into the role of wife and mother and the general daily steps through life, I truly appreciated having more ME time – I feel like when I have more ME time  I have more FAMILY time.

I am however thankful that my 2nd zombie hit is happening tonight so I can get a great nights sleep and will see a lot of you at the plowing match tomorrow!!! I am so excited, Deanna and I will be there with our doTERRA Essential Oils and products!
