Do you or someone you love have PCOS and/or Hypothyroidism?
Through infertility, raising children, working full time, trying to get a grasp on my health and figure out ‘why’… I am so thankful to have found a beautiful natural way to balance my body that works and is a simple addition to our life!
For years I suffered in silence. Ive been there, I live with PCOS and Hypothyroidism everyday! I understand the challenges, the emotions, the pain, the fear, the worry, the feelings of being all alone as well as the stress it places on a marriage and family.
If you are interested in learning more of what has personally worked for me and could work for you please comment below or reach out via email!
Empowering others to be happier and healthier naturally is a true passion of mine which had to begin with ME! A natural addition to my life vs feeling like something ‘more to do’.
Lets start with what I knew going in…
I will admit… I love food! Love it! I knew that if the only option for living a healthier life was to completely give up certain foods or some of my fav’s… that it simply wouldn’t work. I personally am the type of person who needs real food, breakfast for me – personally – is more than just a shake so I knew this was an option I had to not limit myself with. I have however come to terms with the fact that eating out at certain restaurants or eating boxed processed foods is something my body is not willing to embrace and thats ok!
I also knew that relying on working out everyday or every every other day, right now, was not something that would realistically happen. So this was also something I have taken into consideration. Especially since for us PCOS’ers cardio isn’t the best form of exercise for us!
I did not want to invest into a fad. I also didn’t want to invest in something that did not have scientific research behind it – regardless of amazing before and after photos. Or a program which stated I have to do this and that everyday – no matter what, no excuses.
We currently have a lot going on in life in general. We are working on renovating our home, both work full time, kids are each in sports and I am building my doTERRA Business. All while making downtime for ourselves and together a priority. So simplicity was key! Again as I mentioned – not simply adding “something” else for me to do.
Where am I now?
My lifestyle changes have allowed me to still enjoy things I love in moderation but also have reduced any cravings for the “bad foods”, the things that if I am lacking sleep, stressed or emotionally down my body will crave.
I am truly excited for my progress as well as our massive boost in health!
