Embrace The Celebration That You Are!

Change can happen in so many ways – physical, emotional, our home, our lifestyle, learning, education, work and the list goes on and on… this mothers day became something more for me.

My children came into our bedroom and told me I was to stay in bed and not get out! They took my breakfast order, cooked it and served it completely by themselves! It was incredibly relaxing. Hubby had to leave for an emergency call, so they literally made breakfast completely by themselves. Bacon, Eggs and Toast! They worked together and I didn’t hear one disagreement. ❤

I literally spent the entire morning in bed. The ENTIRE morning. The kids completely looked after themselves – and me! Hubby came home from work and got to mudding the new kitchen drywall and I still was in bed. It was wonderful. I got caught up on some of my favourite shows while completely relaxing. I watched before and after renovation shows on my pvr while my hubby was making one in our new kitchen 😉

We celebrated with family. Mom and both grama’s. Always remembering Jaz’s mom, not just today, but everyday <3. We gathered and laughed, ate amazing food and indulged in some fabulous home made desserts. It was a really amazing day on so many levels – I hope your’s was too!

We captured some photos when at Mom and Dads.

Um those are just NOT us at all LOL…

THIS… This is US! ❤20170514-IMG_0430-YLAAE-WM20170514-IMG_0433-YLAAE-WM

My tribe.  My family. The man who helped make me a mother. Our two beautiful little miracles. I hope your day was everything you hope for… but SO much better.

We can sometimes have visions of what ‘should be’ and at times when things don’t feel like they are going that way it’s disheartening.  But what if we were meant for so much more than what we were thinking of. It happened to me today… pretty incredible!

My siblings and mom. I am SO thankful for every single one of you. ❤ 20170514-IMG_0454-YLAAE-WM

Today is a special day. Embrace the celebration that you are! As a grandmother, mom, aunt or friend the role you play in a childs life is more important than you know. The role you play in my life has been an integral part of who I am. I am so grateful for that, for you. For all of you.

A Real Mom

Emotional, yet the rock. Tired, but keeps going.
Worried, but full of love. Impatient, yet patient.
Overwhelmed, but never quits. Amazing, even though doubted.
Wonderful, even in the chaos. Life changer, every single day.
