Release Yourself From Their Expectations

I inspire and educate families on real, simple ways to positive change in their health.

This is something that I have chosen to step into and take control of myself in my own life. For years I turned a blind eye and followed with what I thought ‘should’ happen or what I ‘should’ do.

I read this blog post the other day and it completely resonated with my heart in a couple ways.

For myself, it truly was not that long ago that I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and PCOS. I have also been challenged with Depression – a symptom of both of these invisible illnesses. For a while I followed the norm of how I should handle these illnesses, I even down played them to others. Even though this completely rocked me to my core and I felt very lost. Compounded with past emotional hurt from years before these diagnoses and learning to trust again.

For my children, to embrace their individuality and unique personalities. Each of them learns differently and every part of their individuality must be supportive to their learning style, emotions and health.

I began to step forward into what I knew needed to happen – regardless of what others may say and did say.

I chose to make my health a priority in a natural {life changing} way and although scary at first to “go against the grain” I am loving where this journey has taken us and how great I am {finally} feeling!

What expectations do you need to let go of to fully open your heart, mind and life 💗😄?

She asked me, “What is the biggest lesson you have learned from founding your own company?” Release yourself from people’s expectations of your decisions. If you’re looking for people to “get” you or applaud your career-switching decisions, you may be searching for a long time.

The vast majority of people are afraid of trying something new, but–more so–afraid of failing publicly. Most people don’t want to be vulnerable and run the risk of closing the doors to a dream.

Your responsibility isn’t to handle the naysayers, nor is it to convince others that your decision is right. Your only job is to do what you’ve been created to do.

You must stand in the rightness of your vision and let your success silence their doubts.
