This Christmas has been much like the year 2020… different.
When we would normally gather with multiple sides of the families, on various days, homes filled with people, food, love and laughter. This year was celebrated on a much smaller, simpler scale.
It’s been a bittersweet moment for me. I am deeply sentimental. Time with loved ones means alot to me. I am passionate about capturing these memories also with my camera. The family connections are truly priceless. Nonetheless our celebration was beautiful. Time enjoyed the morning watching the kids open gifts, both thrilled with what they received. Drank our tea and coffee as we opened our stockings.
There is something truly magical about Christmas. I still get absolutely revved up and excited for the Christmas season. Having kids brings a whole different meaning to Christmas.
What Christmas has been for us this year has been connection – especially for the 4 of us, relaxed and laid back. A much slower pace to absorb the true reason for the season, which has been awesome!
I am so grateful for our family and those who are in our everyday life. I am grateful we have made the best of this Christmas and it certainly will be one to remember for many reasons! 💕
