Find Peace Amongst The Chaos

Find peace amongst the chaos!

Peace within me first and then my home. It gets worse before it gets better, right. A lot of the time yup.

Think about where you started in your journey, chances are you were “worse” then, than you are now, if you have stayed the course.

A weekend reno project for our closets!!! SO darn excited and literally breathing through the chaos that has happened in our room, dressing room and my office/sanctuary [in progress]! Even with clothes literally all over this room, I still made sure I had my floor space to finish Week 2 of #MBF!!!

As we begin to pull things back together I am elated at seeing the vision come to life. I am grateful for patience to literally live in the space to figure out the next step. What works best for us and not just for “design”. Our home is very traditional, however also with our modern touches that make it us. Then last weekend, the patience hit a wall and it was time to prepare to do the work, this weekend!

It’s not even done, and yet feels so good! We have spent a lot of time, energy and money making our house our home and it’s been worth every bit of the journey! Especially as we inch even closer to the finish line!

I know one thing, if I hadn’t shifted my health 7 years ago, we wouldn’t be where we are today because I simply couldn’t do it. Physically or emotionally. I had the visions for the house, that began coming to me in 2014, same year I made the choice to get healthy. Things began to align.

Began pushing the excuses to the side… I’m too tired, I’m in pain, I don’t have time, I don’t have money, I don’t want to change, I can’t do it, what will _____ think of me…

Shift that shit!
Yes always make time to rest, make time for quiet, honor yourself first. Because we all have time. Can move pain free. Have money for things we feel are a priority. My opinion and how I feel matters first. I am worth it!

For me, getting healthy, to me at first meant “spending more money” that then stressed me like crazy because we had two young kids in school and daycare, plus sports and we both worked, and and and. Spending money on healthier foods, healthier cleaning and bathing products, clothes… then I realized things are REALLY upside down here. The things that are NOT helping my health, are super cheap and the things that DO help my health are more “expensive” but what it really comes down to is what is MY health worth?! Is it worth shifting our monthly budget so that I am not stressing about purchasing things that will support our health vs hurt our health. Then honestly in reality, HOW are these products allowed to be sold when they have documented health issues?! The world has needed a massive shift and I truly pray, this is the shift that is currently unfolding. Its beyond time for a change!
