Let’s Make Goat Cheese! | Recipe

Let’s make homemade Goat Cheese!

For every 1 Litre of Goat Milk add in 1/3 cup of lemon juice and 2 TBSP of white Vinegar, Add salt to desired taste.

Heat the Goat milk on the stove to 180° stirring as it’s heating. Remove from heat and add in the lemon juice, vinegar and salt. Gently mix. Allow it to sit for at least 30 min. After 30 min SLOWLY ladle into 3-4 layer cheesecloth in a strainer and allow to drain. As the liquid drains out tighten into a ball to get as much liquid out as possible. Leave in the fridge to set and shape and flavour as desired.

We love plain goat cheese but also will be creating a cranberry log, as well as enjoying the Italien goat cheese ball I created for dinner! I am SO excited to continue experimenting and flavouring with some natural essential oils!!!

If you try this recipe let me know what you think!!! It’s actually extremely simple and not challenging at all!

Its very important, if you have food allergies or sensitivities to READ THE LABELS! The reason we began making our own goat cheese is because ALL commercially sold “goat” cheese we have found… contains cows milk!!!
