We had a wonderful Easter celebration with family yesterday.
Today, I need and am craving downtime.
I noticed this after both our kids hockey tournaments. Being IN the energy of the weekend hockey games, downloading the photos, sharing them with the teams – all higher energy. The next day, the Monday, I felt the same deep desire for peace and solitude, like an energetic reset. Although both days I worked, I planned ahead for dinner to ensure the transition was smooth and early to bed.
…and that is 100% ok and aligned with who I am
The more I lean in to me, the more peace I come home to. This also includes using my voice to indicate what works best for me and my energy.
To have a day today, in between a larger family event and heading back to work, is such a blessing!
Being in the flow, also includes downtime to feel my best, mentally and physically.
