Winter Has Arrived

On this day, a year ago, the sweetest little boy arrived and brought so much light to our lives. At a time when it felt pretty dark, for me it felt like the few years prior had fully consumed me. And then this little boy arrived, reminding me so much of my own little boy, who is in his last teens year and can easily cradle his wee cousin in his arm. He brought so much light to all of us and I am so grateful for that.

The sky is overcast today, however the beautiful white blanket of snow helps brighten up everything, even without the sunlight. The warmth of the bare trees.

I was hoping to catch some birds, however they were all tucked away. Will try again another day.

I just love my L lenses, the colour, the image RAW right out of the camera, beautiful quality. As an artist I would highly recommend this lens.
