The Cosmic Heart

This evening, I was reminded about the importance of balance in life. My sweet little baker created a family fav… magic bars! I poured into myself after work and moved my body. Drank a bunch of water before and after. Then, I ate the magic bars!😋

I was feeling slightly down after work, another dark, dreary, cold. My motivation was pretty low. But… I grabbed my cheer roller and rolled it on any visible skin! Started the diffuser with Spearmint and Eucalyptus – beautifully fresh and uplifting!

By the time I finished my work out, I could feel myself pulling back up! Rather than thinking of “ALL” I need to do, take it one step at a time AND delegate! It’s truly remarkable and appreciated how multiple hands make light work!

My card: The Cosmic Heart
Devotion • Potency • Make Your Life A Moving Prayer

Flowing • Refocus • Inner • Truth • Heart • Deep •  Devotion • Soul • Live • Prayer 🙏

I had 8 of those little squares.
…and enjoyed every last bite!
I now understand the importance of quality over quantity. My body is grateful for this too✌😂🙌 As a healing emotional eater, this is awesome progress, listening and being led by my body and how I feel 💫

Let’s Get Up

The week off was good!
I felt it in my core, I should have listened to myself a few days prior. I am grateful that I felt like I was going to let myself down, by taking a break, because that means what I’m doing, is working. Mentally and physically.

I oiled up, a lot. Wrote a lot. Dove into a new book!

It’s just sometimes, things can feel heavy, pain can set in and emotions flow. I’m getting better each day with letting go. Focusing on what is within ME!

With futuristic as my top strength this can be a beautiful but at times stressful trait. The ying and the yang. Seeing what can and is possible, then being faced with blurred lines. Day 1 and I am loving Let’s Get Up!!! The more I learn, the more I master my own depths and heights, I understand the importance of modeling this for my children and even my husband. These past 6+ months have added additional stress in our lives, that we continue to grow around and understand even more that damp, dreary days are for rest and ease. For all of us 😉

There comes a time in life, for everything that once haunted us – whatever that means for you, to face it, feel it and move forward! Sometimes just in a wee bit different way, which is totally ok!

Be an example. I am proud at what I have accomplished but not just that, with what I can do! Rather than starting this new program in my office, I spread out in the living room… with all of the family upstairs!🥰

In my own life, I’ve hit the depths of depression and have been challenged with anxiety. Feeling completely ‘out’ of control can build on this. What I was reminded of is that I am IN control, of my life. I am also a beautiful influential figure in my children’s lives. As Angela Kontgen says, go within or go without. She gave me a beautiful reminder last night, when feeling ‘out’ of control, go within. It’s the external world putting those unrealistic thoughts based on the outside external world. An external world that, yes, I can find so exhausting. I truly have been grateful for not having much to do amidst all this, because I’m not sure that I could or how I could deal with the impending restrictions just to be able to do whatever. Which, no, isn’t natural. My heart and soul is feeling the transition and I’m opening myself more and more to that each day. The transition between bad to good, evil to peace and fear or hate to pure love.

It’s happening… I can feel it. I recognize the feeling, after I rose up, alone in my health journey. We are never alone.

Let’s Get Up! 🙌

Revelations

I had a few revelations this past weekend that I wanted to share.

I could feel myself teetering on the edge of depression, anxiety, honestly a combination.

The winter is typically the hardest for most people, its darker, meaning less natural light, colder, less to do outside because of the weather.

What hit me this weekend is that in this past year and a half our kids have grown up super fast. At a rate I truly do admire and respect them for, but also at a rate of WTF?!

I have always reminded myself, enjoy the stage you are in because it wont last forever. Yes some of those stages felt like, forever.

Now more than ever with two teens, both doing remote learning and pretty much have been on and off for what 15 months now. Our lives have drastically changed, especially for children and parents.

I have always been interested in energy, but didn’t really know how to explain it earlier in my life, so what I gravitated towards was horoscopes and it always blew me away how aligned they could be!

I received this email, from Moon Omens for the month of May ❤

May 2021 is likely to be a month of intellectual restlessness, heightened stimulation, and quick change: it has the potential to be an interesting chapter of our learning journey. During the first half of the month, before Eclipse Season starts, we have an opportunity to ground in our body and establish a strong connection with our foundation, which will help us handle any changes and volatility from a self-secure place. Jupiter in Pisces will support our capacity to tap into our imagination, creativity, and connect with a strong sense of faith.

Eclipses open a portal of change, they are gateways of transformation, they bring us opportunities and revelations and allow us to quantum leap into the future. May 2021 has the potential to represent an exciting time for many of us: the invitation is to stay open to the unfamiliar and trust ourselves enough to join the shift without fear.

What I do truly love about this is, along my journey as I grow and learn I do feel my energy in May is already so much stronger than April. Especially the end of April.

Release the Fear, Live in Love

I am truly grateful for this wee furry kitten. She came into our life last year at the perfect, and slightly unexpected time. What we once thought was an emotional month, losing our beloved Paisley cat and finding our Missy, January was nothing compared to what we braced for in March.

Missy continues to remind us daily the importance of patience. She has her daily routine and outside of that it can feel like 50 First Dates 😂.

She is a sweet loving girl who will never ever have to live in fear again and will always be loved.

(Read that last sentence again…)

Kind of like each of us can… 🥰

She is learning trust and love more and more each day, because we respect her and her need for space and tell her every day she is loved and her big brother would probably love her too 😉

Although she spends most of her time downstairs, she ventures up at night, has acquainted herself with the bird, understands the pet order of the house and curiously is intrigued by daytime life upstairs.

A good kitty lesson about trust, love, living in alignment to release fear and choose love, regardless of what may have driven you to that fear in the past ! 🥰🙏💫

A Few of My Fav’s | Mental Health

Mental health has become an important part of every day. 🥰 Especially in 2020 and even more last October. Feeling the feelings. Letting go of pressures of the to-do list and trusting in the process and Divine timing!

I’m really enjoying being into reading again. I may not be the fastest reader at the moment, but I enjoy the inspiration! Finishing “Think Like A Monk” and excited to dive into “Untamed”!  Using my oils so much more and letting my healing energy flow. A beautiful, relaxing evening, even with the power flickering! Sharing the gifts of healing energy, I introduced my husband to the benefits of tapping after his Reiki treatment!

Oils & Energy | Embrace the Shift

Happy Friday Reminder ✌🥰

From one empath to another, this has been a bit of a wild ride but it’s so worth it. Honestly, this last full moon, the energy was intense, extremely intense. There is major energy shifts happening for a lot of people, growth, facing past shadows and releasing pain. Allowing to feel the feelings and work through. Change can feel challenging, I get it, very much. But change can also be beautiful and a gift many of us didn’t perhaps know we needed.

After hearing whispers to get tapping again, I aligned with Jessica (@theessentialmind8) for a tapping workshop, something I honestly used to do a few years ago with Brad @tapwithbrad as I was amidst some massive growth progress in my life.

Oils and Energy fascinate me so much. Also why I went through the @doterraca Essential Oil Specialist training, my Reiki 1 & 2 and used EFT (tapping) to move energy and increase frequency.

After oiling up with a variety of oils, tapping with Jess Wednesday night and ensuring the diffuser was on, it was the first night in a very long time that I slept through the night. I woke and it was still dark, assuming it was 2 or 3am, as per normal, nope 5am!!!

That night after my workshop, I showered and then gave Jaz a Reiki treatment on his lower leg and ankle.

Last night, showered before bed, water I’ve found is spiritually so cleansing for me, especially to help reset my energy for sleep and the day ahead. Got the diffuser going and used the  Precious Florals as our bedtime oils for me and the kids. Tapped off and on last night freeing more energy from my shoulders. Honestly, Pain that had me crying last week, frustrated because I had to pause my work outs. So much pain I booked a chiro appt with the wonderful @brianne.odriscoll.dc and am really looking forward to my adjustment today.

But what I’ve been reminded of… alot of the time our physical pain we are feeling, IS related to our emotions. The pain that was feeling really bad on Wednesday, before the workshop, has lessened a LOT. Not only that but I fell asleep naturally shortly after 10pm and slept through until just before my alarm at 530am… my goal, wake before the alarm!

Oils in our diffuser last night… Air X, Cedarwood and Petitgrain. Ive been really loving this blend this week! Oils on me this morning, Rose, Tea Tree and Adaptiv!

The roller blend I created Wednesday to help with my shoulder tension/pain includes:

  • Copaiba – Unveiling
  • Frankincense – Truth
  • Deep Blue – Surrendering Pain
  • Birch – Support
  • Lemongrass – Cleansing

Check out these meanings… honestly check them out. These oils are all supportive for what I am dealing with physically and check out the emotional meanings! Yeah!!!

🙏♥️✌

The Downside of Being an Empath

Sometimes as an Empath we not only feel energy, really easy, we also live a very authentic, real, ethical life. Which can feel very challenging when you have dealings with people who clearly are not.

Working in business, I have found this to be one of my most challenging aspects of my “job” when people are less than truthful, straight up lie and hide behind entities that the government allows them to create… some over and over and over again.

As if I needed another reason to “hate” our government. They’ve given me another one and the very challenging thing about that, is I literally cannot talk about it, even though my actions are in the right and theirs are completely in the wrong.

I understand, as I work for our family business, I also take things to heart and I know there are times that I must distance myself and not. However this is challenging, taking people’s word and then being blatantly lied to and on top of that being told by the older man that he wouldn’t discuss this with the woman, only the man.

What is it honestly going to take in this world for equality and fairness? I ask this in a general sense. The government is currently trying to mandate all of these new “rules” many of which violate our constitutional rights as Canadian’s and yet so many people are just saying ok, the government says this so we must do it. When is the government going to actually care about their people, about their communities, their businesses and thus holding people responsible even if they try to hide behind a corporation.

This just simply isn’t just, it isn’t fair and this isn’t how I want to see my children and future grand children living in a world that this is simply allowed?

Honestly I wonder, why do I bother paying taxes?! Why do I bother being an honest, hard working individual when people can straight up lie and hide behind a numbered company and shield themselves from having to be the honest, stand up person that they are supposed to be. Why is it that they can get away with this, literally and yet if one of us personally didn’t pay something or do what they want us to do, they make our lives hard?

This does NOT make any sense to me and drives me even harder to stand up for what is right, because this simply is NOT! I may be one person but there has to be something that can be done to not allow this or to begin to dismantle this horribly broken system. Which clearly is long past due…

Honestly 99% of the people I deal with through my job, are amazing. They truly are. Super friendly, grateful and appreciative. Then there is the flip side that honestly, Ive realized the best thing I can do on those days, when I get home get in the shower, allow the water to literally cleanse and wash any residue of negative energy away.

Mourning Family | Still Living

As we approach Mothers Day 2021, I am reminded of last year. Easter, spent alone and then Mother’s Day. I remember going to our parents house and saying how much I did NOT care what the Government was saying what we could and couldn’t do. My husband, kids and I stopped to see my Mom and two Grama’s. Sadly, we lost my husbands mom just two months before our wedding back in 2004.

If you are new to my blog, Mother’s Day is significant not just for my own mother and mother in law’s appreciation and gratitude for them, but to acknowledge my own journey to become a mother after our own journey through infertility.

This weekend a family member sent out a Zoom Mothers Day Chat for a couple weeks on Mother’s Day. The emotions over the past week have been slightly intense with this super full moon moving in and last night it hit me. I honestly feel like I am mourning family members… who are still living.

This is the reality and sadness of this current situation that we cannot seem to escape from. The control the various government entities continue to pile onto us as individuals, couples, families, parents, children, is beyond. The expectations are futile.

Enough is enough.

People must be empowered with the responsibility of their own health. Because lets look at reality, what I do for my health – is FOR ME. What I do for my kids health, educates them and empowers them and – is FOR THEM. Education is a HUGE piece of healthcare in our home. Actions and consequences. For an illness that has affected far less people than Cancer or Heart Disease. Both of which is in both sides of our family.

These numbers are from the US and reported by the CDC.

Taking this information into consideration, what are some ways to help heart disease.

How to Prevent Heart Disease

What can I do to lower my risk of heart disease?

Fortunately, there are many things you can do to reduce your chances of getting heart disease:

  • Control your blood pressure. High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart disease. It is important to get your blood pressure checked regularly – at least once a year for most adults, and more often if you have high blood pressure. Take steps, including lifestyle changes, to prevent or control high blood pressure.
  • Keep your cholesterol and triglyceride levels under control. High levels of cholesterol can clog your arteries and raise your risk of coronary artery disease and heart attack. Lifestyle changes and medicines (if needed) can lower your cholesterol. Triglycerides are another type of fat in the blood. High levels of triglycerides may also raise the risk of coronary artery disease, especially in women.
  • Stay at a healthy weight. Being overweight or having obesity can increase your risk for heart disease. This is mostly because they are linked to other heart disease risk factors, including high blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Controlling your weight can lower these risks.
  • Eat a healthy diet. Try to limit saturated fats, foods high in sodium, and added sugars. Eat plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables, and whole grains. The DASH diet is an example of an eating plan that can help you to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, two things that can lower your risk of heart disease.
  • Get regular exercise. Exercise has many benefits, including strengthening your heart and improving your circulation. It can also help you maintain a healthy weight and lower cholesterol and blood pressure. All of these can lower your risk of heart disease.
  • Limit alcohol. Drinking too much alcohol can raise your blood pressure. It also adds extra calories, which may cause weight gain. Both of those raise your risk of heart disease. Men should have no more than two alcoholic drinks per day, and women should not have more than one.
  • Don’t smoke. Cigarette smoking raises your blood pressure and puts you at higher risk for heart attack and stroke. If you do not smoke, do not start. If you do smoke, quitting will lower your risk for heart disease. You can talk with your health care provider for help in finding the best way for you to quit.
  • Manage stress. Stress is linked to heart disease in many ways. It can raise your blood pressure. Extreme stress can be a “trigger” for a heart attack. Also, some common ways of coping with stress, such as overeating, heavy drinking, and smoking, are bad for your heart. Some ways to help manage your stress include exercise, listening to music, focusing on something calm or peaceful, and meditating.
  • Manage diabetes. Having diabetes doubles your risk of diabetic heart disease. That is because over time, high blood sugar from diabetes can damage your blood vessels and the nerves that control your heart and blood vessels. So, it is important to get tested for diabetes, and if you have it, to keep it under control.
  • Make sure that you get enough sleep. If you don’t get enough sleep, you raise your risk of high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes. Those three things can raise your risk for heart disease. Most adults need 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night. Make sure that you have good sleep habits. If you have frequent sleep problems, contact your health care provider. One problem, sleep apnea, causes people to briefly stop breathing many times during sleep. This interferes with your ability to get a good rest and can raise your risk of heart disease. If you think you might have it, ask your doctor about having a sleep study. And if you do have sleep apnea, make sure that you get treatment for it.

So interestingly enough, many of these points, also improve your immune function as well. Speaking from experience 100% but also,

Honestly, whats super concerning is the fear being injected into people through the mainstream media sources telling people how deadly this virus is and that if they see other people and do not stay home they could hurt or kill them… This fear being injected into children again and again…

Stop it.

As someone who has experienced infertility myself, I KNOW the devasating effects to a woman’s mental health and as well a couple’s marriage and relationship. I would like to direct your attention to VAXX injuries that caused a “spontaneous abortion” (honestly not sure why its called abortion as the woman does not choose to miscarry… however):

Now keeping in mind the numbers from Canada, based on the current “active” cases in Canada – 84,313 by how many cases Canada has had (which also does not mean illnesses either…) which is 1,194,989 this equates to 0.070%.

Why do I highlight this…

Because MORE people, women specifically because men cannot have a miscarriage, than those affected by covid currently are being injured by this “solution” that the government is trying to force on everyone.

Personal choice 100% – one that if you feel this is the only way you will feel safe that is YOUR CHOICE. Just like its mine to choose to not have it.

… and now Trudeau is hinting at a VAXX passport to be able to travel, which haha how many of us were called “conspiracy theorists” when we said this last year. Sadly… as I seriously feel like I am mourning my living family, the government continues to push and push more and more control.

I actually had a very nice conversation with a customer today, who told me about their travel back from Mexico this spring and how they flew into Buffalo to avoid the isolation centers at the airport and opted to take a shuttle into Canada. I was happy to hear this service is available as it allows people to go to their home, as they should. He did also let me know that last week the “covid police” stopped in to “check on them” during their quarantine… even after multiple negative tests. He told me he and his wife were booked to get their shots today and then asked me if I booked mine, I politely told him no we weren’t going to be getting it (speaking for myself, husband and kids). He politely asked why, so I simply explained we have never chosen or needed to get the flu vaxx and we have shifted our lifestyle for our health. It was a beautiful conversation with mutual respect on both sides. Absolutely no hard feelings, no you should do this or that, real honest respect which I truly was grateful for!

People shouldn’t be mourning their living family members… they should be LIVING — EXPERIENCING LIFE, HAVING FUN, LAUGHING, HUGGING, TOGETHER!!!

Super Full Moon in Scorpio | April 26, 2021

As an empath, I feel the energy of my surroundings strongly. Especially working with others, whether in person, over the phone or email. There is an energetic exchange. Thankfully 99% of those exchanges are positive experiences, albeit still I truly see the benefits to solidifying a beautiful morning routine block to ground myself heading into the day.

This super full moon in scorpio is intense! I’ve been feeling the effects since last week, when I said a full moon had to be coming and sure enough!

I allowed myself grace and ease this weekend. Completely staying off social media on Sunday. I had a great day, for me. Even if that day also included a chunk of work, which was also highly productive. I rested, read, wrote, alot. Just went with the flow. Listened to some mentors.

I saw a great post on Insta from @girlandhermoon.

This is what stood out to me about this full moon!

Oils for this full moon experience:

Don’t Just Open Another Tab

Alot of time when I am on instagram and see a swipe up link that I am interested in, I open it in a new tab, to go back and read later.

In becoming more purposeful with my time and energy, this evening when I was viewing something I was interested in, I opened it and then made sure I didn’t just jump back to insta and scroll. I actually looked at what made me open that link!
