Essential Oils | A Natural Alternative For Cleansing Your Home

Are toxic floor and bathroom cleaners, carpet deodorizers, room fragrances and all purpose soaps getting you down? Learn how to clean your hands and home naturally with simple, inexpensive, effective essential oils and household products. You will feel confident and able after this enlightening session!

Join me this coming Tuesday May 24th for a hands on experience with essential oils and learn how to incorporate them into your daily life.

I went looking for a natural emotional support for myself and my family and have learned that essential oils are not only excellent for cleansing and supporting the mind, body and spirit, they are also effective at cleansing our home and workplaces as well.

I will share with you some of my favourite and easiest recipes such as:

  • All Natural Multi-Purpose Cleaner… Fill a stainless steel or glass cleaner bottle with water about 4/5 of the way, add in vinegar (as much as you would like) and then add in 15 drops of essential oil of your choice. Thats it!
  • Natural Deodorant which contains about 3 tbsp coconut oil (full fat), 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of arrowroot powder. Add in 8-10 drops of essential oil of you choice. Mix well and thats it! This one I had to work with to get it to a balance that was good for my skin. The original recipe has closer to 1/2 cup of baking soda however my skin could not tolerate that.
  • All Natural Foam Soap you just need a foam soap container (I just used my empty ones washed out REALLY well). Fill the container about 3/4 full of water, add in about 2 tbsp of liquid castile soap and about 12 drops of essential oil. Slowly top up the water (if you fill it too fast it will foam a lot!) and its ready to go!

For me switching to DIY all natural products was slightly nerve wracking – I will admit. Simply because, I have a busy life with kids, husband, dog, cat, work, finding time for me etc… so it simply had to be easy or it wasn’t going to happen.

I also knew I had to make a serious change in my life for my own well being. Years ago before we were able to conceive our son, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). This is not something that can be cured, you simply need to manage it in your day to day life… In these past two years I can honestly say my life has changed so much for the better. I wasn’t necessarily looking for an immediate change or “fix”, however something in my heart and soul told me this was right. This was what I needed to do. It took persistence and commitment on my part for a short time, probably a month, and I have never looked back! The discomfort I was challenged with or very low energy and feeling tired all the time, I was able to support my body by removing toxins from my daily life and begin to integrate natural solutions which no longer posed negative effects, simply had positive effects on myself, my body and everyone in our home.

The above are just a few ways I have been successful in achieving this also at a low cost as well, literally pennies per drop!

If you would like to come out and join me all are welcome. There will be prizes to win to take home and begin trying some of these things in your own home with pure quality and powerfully potent essential oils!
