In The Eyes Of A Child

I truly love just sitting listening to our kids. Listening to their opinion, point of view and dreams!

Last night I over heard my hubby having a chat with our daughter. So of course I had to snap this photo.

We are beginning to wrap up our main floor living space and kitchen reno. It feels SO amazing! To see the fruits of our hard work and determination. Most of all for me… to see our vision actually come to life. Our house, turned our home!

Over the last week Jaz has been ticking things off the to-do list of some easy, high impact things as well as other more annoying items 😉

Tonight he was going over the list and updating and checking things off. Our sweet girl said, Wow Daddy! You’ve been doing a lot, you are working so hard.”

We’ve been been working so hard on our home, hubby doing the physical work, me pulling up the housework. There has been a lot of days, weeks that it was really tough on us. Both of us, all of us.

Hearing our little lady say this to her dad, really warmed my heart. She was speaking her truth and admiring all the hard work her dad was putting into our home, our forever home, as we always remind them. The home that we plan to grow old together in and share many more years of memories with our children and their future families.

Our ‘whole home’ reno is beginning to wrap up with the mudroom, laundry room and main bathroom on our to-do project list!

Earlier this week I began to question our priority and plans. Second guessing if we were making the “right” decision or if we “should” do this or that. Earlier today I asked the universe for a sign. A sign of what to do.

This.Was.My.Sign!

To follow MY heart, OUR hearts, OUR goals and OUR dreams!

“While we try to teach our children all about life,
Our children teach us what life is all about”
