What are you creating in your life

Our home renovations have become so much more than just re-creating our space, in my previous post I shared about how much its also helped us grow and change to become better people we were before, tackling things in our life that perhaps once held us stagnant.

These oils have been a blessing in more ways than one. They smell incredible – which makes our home smell incredible, but there is actually so much more to that! Our oils have been supportive to our physical and our emotional health.

Did you see my FB or Instagram live’s on Saturday about the diffuser blend I selected for our day and what we were doing. I selected these oils without thinking too much into it. I actually saw it as a blend online and thought that is perfect for bringing the feelings of Spring inside when it was snowing like December…

One blend was Lemon, Lime and Grapefruit… The Oil of Focus, The Oil of  Zest for Life, The Oil of Honoring The Body. That morning I had decided to clean out the the kids closets and get my clothes put away, including some that no longer served me since becoming healthier and stronger 😉

Sunday Morning I chose Fennel, Geranium, Copaiba, Eucalyptus and Grapefruit. The Oil of Responsibility, The Oil of Love and Trust, The Oil of Unveiling, The Oil of Wellness and The Oil of Honoring the Body.

This weekend was filled with renewal, growth, family and friends – my heart is full. The majority of the weekend, 80% of it has been in our home creating and enjoying the space and our time together.

Sunday I had the opportunity to have some alone time – purely alone in our home to enjoy the peace and quiet but more importantly to reflect on me.

I sat down and refilled our kids oil blends that we use every single day and were in need of topping up. I pushed my comfort zone to share why we use the oils we do and how we have embraced our ADHD lifestyle.

I then remembered to think of me…

I am consciously always thinking of what we need to do for the kids and keeping their routine intact – Im not as great with myself. But, I am getting better…

As I looked at the oils I had out, the ones I had just finished explaining the various uses and why (emotionally) we use them I knew I had to take better care of ME and needed to create my blend.

I took an empty Balance bottle and added in 4 drops each of Frankincense, Copaiba, Wild Orange, Balance, Vetiver and Neroli then topped with fractionated coconut oil and a spray bottle. Mama’s body spray to start the day! I did the same with an empty Neroli roller and added 3 of each topping with coconut oil for on the go use. Oils on and ready to tackle the rest of the day.

I also enjoyed an incredibly moving and powerful meditation by Louise Hay about “anger releasing”. It was by far the biggest shift I have ever felt during a meditation. As much as I though I had ‘gotten over’ some of the joy thief’s Ive had in my life, when she said to visualize the 1st person walking up, I felt the anger and anxiety build, I began to shake and I could see myself doing exactly as she said to do – tell them exactly what you think – how did they make you feel. Then she continued for person 2, person 3, person 4 and person 5. I knew without even thinking exactly who each person was and why. I was impressed at how this mediation exercise could uncover emotions like this and so quickly. I remember hearing the end of the meditation and then waking up on the couch, as soon as it finished I quickly feel into a deep sleep. I awoke feeling even more refreshed and renewed, committed to no longer letting these joy thief’s steal my thunder or have any control over my life. I woke feeling happy, at peace and ready!

For a “normal” weekend it has quite honestly felt like we’ve had 2 extra days. Its been productive, relaxing, fun, and I am going into this week feeling prepared, excited for what is to come and feeling so very grateful and abundant. ❤

What am I creating in my life… space, peace, ease, art, simplicity, love, gratitude, abundance, love, patience, freedom. What are you creating in yours?
