The Doors | September Projector

I always feel I go internal this time of year. I feel so much more productive and the time spent at and in our home generally increases. I can see how when BIG emotions and feelings hit, the more I honor and just let them flow, the easier I pass through so much. I literally did nothing all weekend, didn’t even get my camera out, would get my book out but my brain couldn’t focus. This weekend I felt myself begin to let go of that… I “should” be doing something, we need to get this or that project done or I should get caught up on work after being away. I literally did the bare minimum. My entire family, extended included honored that for me and I am so grateful.

Tonight I came home from work, got the dishes soaking and then on a whim went and washed all our mainfloor exterior doors inside and out. They now look fabulous and I feel a massive sense of accomplishment, that… literally… less than 30 min. . . !

THEN I realized… I had NEVER EVER washed our bedroom exterior door. We moved into our room in the late Spring of 2020. That fall, my husband fell off a roof. I have had little pockets of motivated “work” but truthfully I’ve felt paralyzed, which I hate to use that word but it describes it well. I would think of ‘all I need to do’ and then… not do it. I was living in a state of complete overwhelm.

It’s slowly been coming into my consciousness, as many years ago we went through a very challenging time and I totally let go of any and all routines, like with paying bills. I used to be so organized. I tried again in 2015/2016 to get myself sorted out and it hasn’t been until literally like 2 weeks ago I spent some purposeful office time. It felt good. Much like cleaning the doors tonight. I’ve felt myself pulling “out”, now I can truly see it. 🙏

I am truly here for all the signs, the way living in alignment is truly the only way to live.

I was reading through an email, literally just after I saved this blog post, at the hands. I read this…

September affirmations for your type…

For Projectors: It’s time. It’s time to share my magic with the world and let the world see my gifts, even when it’s uncomfortable and scary. It’s time to raise my standards and invest my energy only in the people and places that see my value. It’s time to release any beliefs I have around how my career “should” look and to prioritize working in a way that feels good to me, e.g. choosing space, ease and support over burnout. It’s time to release any guilt I feel around doing nothing and to choose to take rest whenever and however I need it. It’s time to feel levels of success and alignment in my career, relationships and life that are better and far more magical than I could have ever imagined. This is my time.

If you are on her mailing list, you would have also received these beautiful words for Projectors and other human design types. Learning my Human Design type has brought an incredible understanding to my life, as well as a new appreciation for ME! Did you know one common thing about Projectors?! We love to lay down whenever we can! Not just lay down to sleep, lay down on our back or stomach to be productive with work. It’s comfy!
