The Salad

Have an interesting share…
We are in the city for an appointment today, so to save time and for our son’s comfort, we thought we would order online and then it would be ready when we got there. I wanted a salad with my meal, but also wanted the fresh cut fries… our son wanted to get wings, which come with carrots and celery, he didn’t want the veggies so I figured I would just eat those and not order an “extra” salad. As we began unpacking the meal, I opened the veggies to take a bite. The carrot was bendy and rubbery. Plus we didn’t get utensils. As we were still in the parking lot I went back in and asked to get fresh veggies and utensils. He said “would you just like a salad?” I was slightly shocked at first, almost said out loud thank you spirit! I thanked him as he handed me the salad and one set of utensils. I asked if I could get a 2nd set as we had 2 meals, he goes to the back and comes out with a 2nd set of utensils AND another salad, apologized again for the veggies and told me to enjoy my day.

So yes spirit, I hear the message loud and clear!!! ✨️

OH and actually as we unpacked the order, we had an extra sauce (Swiss chalet lol). My husband loves the sauce and allows himself the odd indulgence of it once and a while (corn allergy). I made a comment that we had an extra sauce, he looked at me and said I asked for extra sauce…I don’t even remember seeing the option to order just extra sauce, somehow spirit interjected there as well!

My head tried to logic with me… tried to justify why I DIDNT need the salad that my body told me it did… my heart is what needs to lead and truthfully what already IS leading me!
