Day 2 – Fri Sept 25, 2026 – Happy 22nd Anniversary + Lighthouse Point Trail
Our day began with the most beautiful sunrise, for the celebration of our 22nd Wedding Anniversary! This little area was just down the road and around the corner from our campsite, a very easy 5 min walk!
I purposely brought a bunch of various lenses that I may need or want to use. I love that having a trailer gives me this comfortable option. Today, as I knew I was going to be carrying light, my first walk in a month since I re-injured my knee, I wanted to have my go to, so I had my Canon R6MII + 24-70 f2.8L – a delicious combination!
I just had to get closer, carefully!
One of the beautiful beaches within the park – there were so many ! This was near the Lighthouse Point Trail.
The beginning of the trail.
Getting closer to the top – the rocks and various textures of nature are so beautiful!
Skipping stones in the water!
Day 2 was fabulous and exhausting. I made sure to wear my brace and that helped a lot. If you have any mobility issues, you can do this trail, but beware of a lot of rocks and roots – both my husband (ankle) and myself (knee) were exhausted by after dinner, in a great way!
Let me know if you do this trail as well and your own memories captured!
