On such a happy day… we will always have a tear of sadness for  Mom Diane, who should be here with us and who we miss so very much XOXO.

We are so lucky to have Mom in our life, so thankful to have you with us and our children and everyday we truly do cherish! XOXO

Everyday is a totally new adventure together. All our good moments, the laughter, fun and of course the bad and even the ever so frustrating. There is nothing in this world I would want to do or be more, than your mom! My life has completely changed, you both have made me the woman I am today and have reminded me just how important and precious life is. I love you more and more everyday! XOXO’

… and of course to the man who, without I would not have these precious babies of ours. Life can get pretty crazy at times, but its been 13 years and counting… we are stronger than ever and have been through so very much. Our love continues to shine through and I thank you for this journey in life you chose to walk with me. Its been crazy, frustrating, messy, loud… but we’ve survived and each and everyday with you and our kids I am so excited to see where this journey in life will continue to take us. For better or worse…  Forever and Always.

With all the craziness… that life can bring

and all those times Ive wanted to pull my hair out…

this is life, its not perfect, but its PERFECTLY OURS!

Sometimes in life you just have to sit back, trust in our faith and enjoy the ride. Life can be hard, its this journey where we find out our true strength, our true ability to love one another, our true capability and skills… our true self and what that means. We try to teach our kids about life, when our kids teach us truly what life is all about!~

This winter has just dragged on and on and oooooooon…..

Truth be told, I hadn’t even touched my camera in over a week… over a week – for ME!

Last night my girl and I had an hour to ourselves, some sunshine streaming through the windows and the passion re-ignited.

I hadn’t taken any of her yearly “birthday photos” so we had some fun!!!

Of course the miss had to take some of mommy ;) Not bad on her! For the photog’s out there… this was at f1.2!

I am so thankful for the time we had together, even just an hour it was so much fun, captured her sweet personality and blasted some tunes!!! Watching both my kids grow each day, becomes even more precious and exciting to me as each day passes, I truly am lucky to have been blessed with two amazing, smart, energetic, creative, passionate, imaginative, funny and most important LOVING children!

As much as Ive appreciated actually having a winter WITH snow… I just cannot wait for Spring!!!

“Your Life As Photography” truly sums up MY life… captured in photos many of the moments I, and we spend together.

After picking up the kids tonight I surprised them with their choice of restaurant for supper, of course little man suggested A&W and the little lady immediately agreed – to which little man replied “she said yes so thats where we’re going” haha!

We arrived home and hopped in the hot tub, while I was soaking in one of the loungers, I looked across to see the kids chatting with each other leaning on the side looking out into the backyard. Of course the photog in me made an excuse to run into the house (safely) to grab the camera…

Seriously when did this boy grow up… amazes me everyday!

This truly is what life is about – for me of course.

Its these little moments, captured in time that truly mean so much more than anything I could ever buy.

Its the moments and relationships. Stepping back and watching for a moment the relationship between the kids. Enjoying my relationship with them as their mama. Watching them grow and become the amazing little people that they are. Growing right before my eyes.

After that moment, I walk into the house to put the camera down and took a look around, its not dirty, but its most certainly lived in. I could have been tidying up and putting things away, the stuff will be there. Tonight was ALL about my kids. ALL about them and enjoying each and every second. It felt SO good. I love them SO much. I love when we have nights like this… can’t wait for our next one with Daddy joining us too!

We had a great day celebrating our little miss with her friends and our family! So thankful for those of you who were able to make it to join us, means the world! Of course I had to capture the fun with some snaps! The photographer in me steps aside for party moments like these and just snaps for the fun of it ;)

This year our girl decided she wanted to have her birthday party at the bowling alley – win win for this mama for sure! The kids were entertained (and had a blast), they fed them, decorated and got to play 2 games! We had a lot of fun! So thankful my sister in law Niki joined me at the bowling alley – I appreciated the help for the other lane SO much and Mads loved that you were there!

Little man was not only SO good for us, reminding the girls the rules (hahaha) but he also got his 1st STRIKE!!! It was awesome, I wish I had it on video!!!

Hubs and the kids had to finish shoveling the walk for family who were coming (after the bowling party)…

Auntie Erin (my sis) made an amazing cake for our miss!!! Erin and Mads picked out the purse cake she wanted and Erin took on the task – it turned out AWESOME! Especially for her first time using fondant!!! Thank you SO much Erin :)

HAHA Love this look… Mads wanted flowers for her walls, her brother was just about bursting at the seams wanting to tell her what Auntie Erin had bought, so much that we kept having to say “just stop talking” to him haha!
