Preparing for the Full Moon | Friday the 13th!

Haven’t the energies been… interesting, this week! Yes they sure have!

Embrace them, allow yourself to FEEL whatever you need to feel. If things from the past are coming up allow them to come up, process, feel to heal. This is a very important step.

Whatever you find grounding, reach for that. For me this is my essential oils, nature, water, journaling, reiki, relaxing but also spurts of organizing – an organized space is so chill for me!

PLUS… its FRIDAY THE 13TH!

Shift the negative thinking around this day… the sun is shining, the energies have already been… shifty… embrace it and the beauty that this day and night brings!

Some Essential Oils to reach for this weekend…

  • Magnolia – The Oil of Compassion
  • Citrus Bliss – The Oil of Creativity
  • Sunny Citrus – The Oil of Enjoyment
  • Island Mint – The Oil of Respite

This evening, rather than looking at the time and thinking of what I “had” to do… I went with the flow. Fed my creative desires and went on a nature photo walk. Discovered an incredible trail and family photo op!

I enjoyed a beautiful nature walk. It was like a beautiful path opened up, I couldn’t hear town, it was just me and nature. Time stood still, in the most beautiful way.

Part of me was tempted to sit on the couch when I got home and enjoy the beautiful weather. I leaned into my desire for grounding… After inspecting the gardens for snakes, I grabbed my son’s speaker, cranked some tunes and began weeding the front gardens. Shifting from “not having a green thumb”, to enjoying time with mother earth. Being grateful for the growth and spaciousness in our gardens.

When I came in, I felt my back feeling tense, in a spot that has been triggered multiple times and has previously resulted in a great deal of pain. This evening while in the garden, I was patient, I stretched while weeding, changed my position and then did some stretching. When I came in, after my shower I put AromaTouch on my back to help support and prevent. I will be doing some reverse stretches as well. Having my SI Joint go out, last year on the May long weekend, also the weekend my husband had his 2nd surgery that went sideways, was dreadfully painful. So I listen to my body much more closer now. I listen to when I need to be more patient with her. To love on her more and be grateful for my body and health.

Enjoy this weekend and be sure to take time for YOU! For yourself. Surrender, whatever that means to you. Ground.
