Share Your World | Week of Feb 9

I am loving allowing my creative juices to flow through my blog. The people Ive crossed paths with are incredible artists, photographers, and many writers.

I came across this weekly blog, Share Your World. Ive learned so much from not just living my own life, but reading other people’s stories. So… let’s join in on ‘Share Your World’ by Pensivity 101. Sharing my world for the week of February 9th.

What time did you get up this morning?

I was awake shortly after 5, however didn’t get out of bed until 6am.

What are your plans for the day?

Today, I enjoyed some me time in my zen den this morning before work, I was craving a GF wrap wrap with chicken, the only way they are good is in the frying pan with cheese. These wraps are so good when heated up in the frying pan. It was delicious for lunch, and quick! Enjoying the evening at home, I totally am a home body and I love it. I love my space and being in it. Especially when its dark out, my brain is in night mode, so for that reason, anything I need to get done, I do as soon as I get home, so I got the kitchen cleaned up so that I could then enjoy a show and blog some photos while relaxing with a yummy chicken wing spinach dip for dinner!

Has 2026 been good/better year for you so far?

It has been good. Ive realized I need to focus on me much more than I have. Which is also ok, better, but also at times feels selfish as I very much used to be a people pleaser, which often meant putting myself last. I do feel much more optimistic for the year, and can admit to having some frustrations and challenging feelings. I remind myself to focus on what is within my control. I hit a few challenges, over something that for the past few weeks has flowed simply. Until a few days ago when I was faced with a group message that took me back and pulled my grief as well as what felt like loneliness when I lost someone very close to me. When I felt forgotten, but in reality it was lifes way of re-aligning me, to the path I needed to be on, to feel genuine caring, support, love, compassion, and when around people, people who see me for me. My circle has gotten much smaller and thats ok. I know from experience, life losses will always hit in different ways of “hard”. Its not fair to myself to get angry with someone not being there for me, when their words previously said they would. 2025 taught me a lot, and one is stand by your word, be true to your word, always. What you say, you stand by. This is strongly following me through to 2026 and beyond. I have been enjoying my winter, we have a lot of snow which has been awesome, also slightly isolating at times, at least when you feel lonely like that, you appreciate how bright the white snow makes it outside! Ive spent much more time with my camera in my hands. Truly allowing my soul to be heard and seen, by me, the most important person in my life. With love.

What is on your meal menu for today?

Breakfast, I am rarely hungry in the morning when I am up. I am working on this, as I typically am a couple hours later. For lunch, as I mentioned above, I had a GF wrap, with cheese and chicken. I made it open face first, so the cheese could melt and crisp up the sides of the wrap (trust me its only good heated up 😉 ), and then folded over. For dinner, its laid back left overs, the rest of the chicken in a Chicken Wing Spinach Dip.

Gratitude shared with Pensitivity101’s post…

As long as we have memories, yesterday remains.

As long as we have Hope, tomorrow waits.

As long as we have Love, todag is beautiful.

If you look hard enough… you will see yourself. Just like this branch, even though things may be close to us, they may not be in our focus, and thats ok… enjoy what is! ❤ Pam
