My favourite bridges, are the ones with water and nature beneath them!
This week Beth at Wandering Dawgs is inspiring us to share our favourite bridge photos! “The challenge is for you to show us your favorite bridge images. You can feature any kind of bridge: natural bridges, foot bridges, swinging bridges, highway bridges, stone bridges, railroad bridges, or any other kind of bridge you can think of.”
This bridge is down the road from us on a no winter maintenance road, this was in the spring of 2025 when the river was very full – normally the water flows neatly beneath the bridge, not under and all around! I honestly had a hard time standing on the bridge with the fast movement of the water.

Technically, a culvert underneath and not what all may consider a bridge – however it has sides and its on a country rural road, so peaceful to travel on honestly ;)
I knew heading to my Spring folder was the one where I would find the images – spring is when I am longing for the flowers to be in bloom, so capturing the landscape is what keeps my camera busy! This bridge is just outside of Port Elgin. I love that they kept this old bridge and you can walk on it. So much character!

An old bridge out in Southgate, I can visualize where it is, but cannot remember exactly ;) Nor could I purposely get myself there by myself!

I hope you enjoyed some of my favourite bridges around me! I do have many more I could share, however I think I have more than reached the suggested limit! This was a fun challenge to go back through images!
