One Word Sunday | Laundry

I read a post early this morning, sharing a great photo of colourful laundry hung outside against the backdrop of a white building, fantastic! For Debbie’s One Word Sunday inspiration this week see this post here!

Last night, I actually took a very simple photo in my closet. Our closet/bathroom area has been under renos for quite some time, they began in 2019 actually, with our home additions which involved building a larger master bedroom, and then taking over our old room to make a larger ensuite and closet space for us.

The final details are ones we have been able to live through, but are now both at the point of wanting done! To do that, we are at the flooring stage, then trim! This meant moving a few things yesterday out of that space to begin living with the finalized layout.

One we have honestly been back and forth in for a while. I will share one, and this is honestly when we know we aren’t ready to make a final decision, if any part of it feels like resistance! The original corner walk in closet, decent size, but wasn’t the greatest space for two. So husband got a large walk up closet with two hanging levels and one tall one. Atter measuring yesterday, apparently my corner closet still has the same hanging space approx ;)

Laundry - One Word Sunday

Yesterday, I got ALL my clothes put away and organized. Even tossed a few things in the donate pile, which feels amazing! Moved our hope chest, that was made by my husbands grandfather and created the beautiful open floors pace that we needed to move forward!

To join the new bedroom, with the original house, the new flooring in the hallway, just need to fill in the blank… in the middle!

We moved the chest to the end of our bed, still plenty of floor space, however knowing that I do wake in the night at some point, I needed to protect myself, so the white duvet, fit that perfectly to drape over and protect my toes ;)

It feels SO good when Laundry is all done and put away, organized neatly! I honestly like to organize my clothes by colour and purpose, it feels so good to be able to find things so much easier!

This can also be for Johns Cell Pic Sunday as well!
