I am truly grateful for this group of women I have met through @avalonstarlight’s Chakra Mastery Academy.
Last August, I was struggling in a very big way. So many unknowns in our life and I was feeling the weight of it all. Something kept pulling me towards Avalon, in a way even I didn’t understand. I receive a lot of emails and I can admit I don’t read them all, this one, something pulled me in.
The email was a one on one intensive for 90 days. My energy didn’t hesitate. I needed to invest in me.
I am SO proud of the woman I have uncovered, of the continued growth and healing that happens every single day and for the opportunity to continue working with Avalon in the Chakra Mastery Academy. So grateful for our call tonight, everyone is so different and yet, I got something fom everyone’s stories tonight 💗!
I pulled this card just as our call was ending… “I don’t have to fear my fear, I can use it as a way to get closer to love” @gabbybernstein
I started ours and each of the kids diffusers and saged our home. The cards I pulled before bed… I began shuffling the deck, I asked ‘what do I need to know in this moment’ and instantly heard ‘past – present – future’.

I shifted my mindset this evening, more purposeful than anything for a beautiful reason 😍 We had made, eaten and had everything cleaned up from dinner by 7pm. Purposely made time for reading in the kitchen after dinner while our fav baker spent time doing something she loves!
As the kids grow, we don’t have as much time with them as we did when they needed us for everything, these moments are special. These blends are special. Emotionally supporting mental health while also cleansing for a physical health boost too 😉✌

This weekend we are celebrating one of our children’s birthdays. I went to get balloons for the big event and was very happy to head home with them to get set up!
Until I walked out of the store, an intense gust of wind and one balloon literally ripped away from the package. I got to my vehicle as quickly as I could, got the door open and the rest of the balloons inside safely. Well it turns out the #1 balloon is what went floating up to the sky.
I instantly felt so much sadness and instantly started crying. Slightly confused, as it’s literally “just a balloon”, I kept questioning myself, why?! What is wrong, why is this upsetting you so much. Why are you literally sitting here bawling?!
Then it hit me.
Someone very close to us, one of the babies they sadly lost, was also due this weekend and would have been 1 this year 🎈.
That’s when the tears couldn’t stop. Didn’t matter what I did. I got myself home, my poor husband didn’t know what happened when I came through the door bawling and barely able to communicate why. The emotions hit me hard.
All I could get out is that the number 1 balloon ripped and blew away. Now thinking back, the look on his face was priceless. Poor guy, thankfully he also knows my energy can be very powerful at times and we go with the flow, whatever that may be.
I took some time, composed myself and then called the store to order another 1. Which I held safely in my arms as I left the store.
Thankfully, our loved ones will have their own happy ending soon and these angel babies will never, ever be forgotten!
As we have been nearing the completion stages of our living room, I have been looking for end tables for a while. A wood and metal look.
I had found some but nothing was really jumping out at me and I am not the type who likes to just drop a bunch of money without being 100% sure.
Earlier in the week I said to my husband, I think I should go to Gray’s this week. “Costco North” for those of us in our rural area haha! Truthfully, we have had some great luck with finds there! In 2017 when our basement flooded, our only living room furniture in our entire house, was down there as we were renovating the main floor so it was easier to get rid of the old stuff that was down there, move the upstairs stuff down into the new basement and then figure out what to get for upstairs when the time was right. Well, I listened to my intuition and every single time there was something there that was exactly what I had been envisioning!
The downstairs sectional, the chairs in our front window, the living room furniture.
Friday came and with a new moon this week, my sleep had been off. I had been up since 430am that morning and I was just exhausted and my energy was off. It was easier for me to say fuck it and just come home.
Someone close to me messaged that they had stopped over at Gray’s… so I asked if there were any end tables?
Exactly what I had been envisioning. They match beautiful with our space and the other textures in the room!
The beautiful pillows that I got my husband – yes story behind this – they are from Plume’s Interior and are just beautiful! So… pillow story. The middle of this month is 17 mths since my husband fell, yes its getting easier to not count ever single week, thankfully. In those 17 months we have always had extra blankets and pillows on our living room chair/couches and our bed. Our dog, who has an interesting fabric fettish, has maybe tried once or twice and then realized they are dads and dads are off limits. So… dad got 2 new pillows and is breaking them in for us 😂!
These are a few of my favourite things… that I love to have within reach beside my bed.
Diffuser… it’s amazing the difference in sleep I get when I’ve got oils in the diffuser.
Tonight’s intuitive blend is beautiful! When selecting, just literally select them, then look up the meanings. My mind will go blank as I select them, it’s pretty cool, I set the intention to select what I need. Turn off my mind and select. It’s incredible how bang on it can be! ✌
A small handful of various oils, they change all the time. Hygge and Elevation have joined me for the past couple months.
Variety of crystals, I’m still learning about them all. Cannot remember the green one out front but the big beautiful blue one in the back… Labradorite
Water bottle… I am realizing just how much water my body needs and craves, also how crucial it is for my health. I have not been drinking enough, will aim to consciously drink more!
Books… I’m stoked to dive into my newest book that just arrived… Power Vs Force ! The others I’ve dabbled in, but have had a hard time getting pulled in.
Pens… lol I love pens and paper. My journals and planners are also close by! 殺
Ohhhh my oracle cards! They were hiding behind the water bottle! My current favs is The Starseed Oracle Deck. The messages are just incredible. My card tonight… Earthed. Learning how to be human. In the world, but not of it.
Last but not least… I spent some time on me tonight with my fav lash girl. Legit my only “high maintence” for daily love maintenance, which is me! Simplistic lifestyle! I love my lashes, they are so beautifully long and a gorgeous strawberry blonde colour. I have to admit, I love the definition of my eyes when my lashes are darker. Legit the only “make up” I bother with and it’s been months! Haha the simple things like being able to rub my eye and not say… F, I have mascara on!

Here’s the thing, I can’t force anyone else in this world to do anything, the only person I have “control” over, is me. By trusting in me, trusting in my journey, feel to heal. It’s worth the work, it’s worth the journey, it’s different for everyone!

YUM! We were in a bit of a food funk… up and down weather, weird times… we were both just feeling pretty blah. Ah the February blah’s!
We love cooking, so I’ve been hyping myself up with week with some visual reminders – the pics always catch my attention way more than just reading a recipe!
This morning made some fresh breakfast sausage from Ernies in town with some @themiddlefarm egg cups with naturals honey ham, broccoli, zucchini, orange pepper and some cheddar goat cheese. SO good, very filling and we’ve got a couple days of left overs!
Grateful for our time together this weekend, we not only did some food prepping, shopping and cooking we also enjoyed a beautiful steak and salmon meal with all the kids, revived our kombutcha batch, reorganized in the kitchen and set up our new home gym! Very stoked for this next stage of our life. I’ve wanted this for a very long time 😍! A weekend well spent, brings a week of content!
If the past 16.5 months and 2 yrs has taught us its that we need to be 100% comfortable in our living space, food is fuel and when we honor our body we can thrive, healing takes time – both mentally and physically and no one knows our body and health better, than us! Empowered health!
The past two days has literally felt like I’ve had a week off and “reset” within our home.
Also very grateful for our kids… our son for carrying these heavy pieces downstairs and our daughter for making us more “breakfast” cookies 🍪! A beautiful reward!
