The universe works in wonderful ways | DoTERRA Jasmine & Helichrysum

This week I received my free bottle of Jasmine from doTERRA!!! A true gift that arrived at exactly the right time in my life.

This beautiful bottle arrived Wednesday afternoon, exactly when my body needed the support of this oils positive properties. A gorgeous floral scent, so precious and unique.

Jasmine is one of doTERRA’s very precious oils. These oils are not available year round as they are so precious that it is important to ensure sustainability within the harvests to achieve the quality standards doTERRA has set for themselves.

Jasmine is know as The Oil of Sexual Purity and Balance. Jasmine has positive properties of healthy sexuality, pure intentions, innocent, healing, self-acceptance, intimate, trust and safety.

Today after work I came in to my oil box, opened it and my eyes directly went to Helichrysum. Quite honestly not one I would immediately choose for the diffuser. So I then went to my Emotions and Essential Oils book and said to myself wherever I open the book the first oil I choose will be on the left side. I opened the book to page 40… Helichrysum! Our intuition is pretty freaking cool!

Helichrysum is known as the Oil for Pain. “Helichrysum removes pain quickly and effortlessly. It aids “the walking wounded” – those with a history of difficult life circumstances… It gives strength and endurance to the wounded soul who must keep on living, despite past difficulties.” Helichrysum has positive properties such as healed, courageous, hopefully, transformation, perseverance and determination.

These oils are both special ones. Helichrysum is a higher value oil, one that is available year round, however is an investment for your collection!

With the plant spirit’s Helichrysum is known for its Strength. “I am strong in my ‘weakness’, strong in my healing. I will never forget this.

The plant spirit Jasmine is known for Internal Guidance. “In stillness I listen to the voice of my heart and follow where it leads.”

Helichrysum has beautiful emotional properties as mentioned above, as well as physical.

Helichrysum is used in aromatherapy as a nervine and calmative. It is also effective for first aid uses such as colds, coughs, cuts, bruises, burns, eczema, dermatitis, sprains, strains, blemishes, minor skin irritations, acne and boils.

I can personally attest to the ability of Helichrysum to aid with the healing of cuts. A drop on a cut and the blood immediately begins to clot and begin the healing process.

A very unique combination these two are. Sometimes the best decision is to follow our intuition, it will rarely steer us in the wrong direction. Another benefit to diffusing the oils is my entire family is benefitting from the positive properties of both oils. <3

Hey all my oily lovers!

This past week was emotionally tough for this Oily Photographer so I literally surrounded myself with loved ones ALL weekend from Friday night to Sunday night with of course some quiet downtime for myself as well.

Saturday morning part of our oily team got together for some training, exactly what I needed to keep my mind busy. At this team training, I was so very lucky and am so grateful to have won a 5ml bottle of doTERRA Whisper!

This is a beautiful blend of Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, Vanilla Bean Absolute, Jasmine, Cinnamon, Labdanum, Vetiver, Hawaaian Sandalwood, Cocoa Bean Absolute, Rose in a base of fractionated coconut oil.

I will be honest, when we first got this blend for our oil kit, I got it for my daughter to wear. It was one I really and truly was not drawn to and so for many months it has sat in my oil box with only about 20 drops left in it… until this weekend!

When I won the bottle of Whisper at our training, I knew it was a sign. Out of everyone there I was the one lucky enough to receive it – because I needed it. I came home from the training, opened my bottle of whisper and instantly felt calm and at peace. It was a different scent than what I remember when we originally got it and my daughter was using it in her diffuser. I find it so very facinating how our bodies can be drawn to different oils at different moments, situations and emotions within our life. A blend which once did not appeal to me at all, I found comfort in. I applied the oil to my wrists, behind my ears and over my heart and have been wearing it everyday since that Saturday afternoon.

Whisper essential oil blend is known as The Oil of Femininity. It encourages individuals to let go of their pride and let down their tough exterior. Positive properties of this blend include humility, kindness, softened, acceptance, teachable and adaptable.

Women’s Blend is also known for Liberation with the plant spirits! A beautiful blend to release burdens, stress and responsibilities which affect so many women with work, children, family, finances, household etc. I personally find its easy as a woman, working, with a family and a household to co-manage, a large close family and also having a vision for how I would like to personally impact the world… at times things can collide and without even realizing, its easy to be consumed within the emotions of the moment. I am so very thankful for these oils as they truly continue to change my life. Thank you mother earth for this beautiful gift of natural health and wellness.

Juicy Rosemary Basil BBQ Chicken & Optimistic Diffuser Blends

I started my day with a beautiful diffuser blend of Douglas Fir and Bergamot. Bergamot is a gorgeous citrus oil which is known as The Oil of Self Acceptance with positive properties of Optimism, Confidence, Hopeful and Loveable.

The positive properties of Douglas Fir which was resonating with me this morning and to strengthen my energy was Wisdom and Learning From The Past.

Its so easy to become consumed with the day to day and forget about what really matters, who is in our lives and how we can positively affect them. Douglas Fir teaches individuals to learn from and value others experiences. Douglas Fir reminds us that valuable wisdom can be obtained by learning from the past.

This evening I cooked a beautiful bbq chicken dinner. First after arriving home, I put in a beautiful blend of two of the doTERRA Sunsational Flavours oils… Spearmint and Tangerine.

Spearmint is The Oil of Confident Speech, known for instilling Confidence and Courage. Spearmint also encourages individuals to take a public stand on behalf of their values and opinions.

Tangerine oil, is as fabulous as ripping open the rind of a fresh tangerine. Tangerine is known as The Oil of Cheer and Creativity. Tangerine teaches the individual to enjoy life by being more abundantly creative and to re-experience the joy and cheerfulness they knew in childhood. Positive properties are Optimistic, Abundantly Creative and Cheerful.

My mouthwatering bbq chicken brushed with a fresh garlic, helman’s mayo and oil mixture! 2 drops of Rosemary, 2 of Basil and 1 of Lemon.

When cooking with oils one drop goes a long way, especially for a more stronger flavour such as Oregano. The flavour is rich and deep, infusing all of the meat with mouthwatering goodness!

Life’s A Beach | My Happy Place

My Happy Place… It truly is our home away from home. The place where no matter the family or friends who show up, everyone is welcome. Where many weekends are filled with a lot of laughs and love and upstairs feels like one giant bedroom. A beach filled with chairs and beach toys – many of which passed down through the years. Memories are being made with everyone of all ages.

These two. So individual yet so very similar. I love that we are sharing with them my childhood summers. Many of their early years feel like a blur to me. A whirlwind of events from infertility to pregnancy to a scary first birth experience to a surprise pregnancy and two under 18mths old. I cannot believe these two are the ages they are. Its been a lot of long nights, feelings of inadequacy, tears of joy and sorrow, worry, financial stress, changes, blessings and growth.

There is going to be much more time to make more memories. More sunsets, more beach fun, more water and boating, more of living and loving life.

This life we are creating together, it certainly hasn’t been easy. We’ve strengthened through more struggles than most. Committed to each other, committed to our vows… Each day a new adventure, each other our rock of reasoning, feeling very blessed and so very grateful.This life we have is freaking beautiful and each day it is blossoming even more!

Being out on the water, I truly did not know how much I missed until I was out there. Its so refreshing and renewing. Completely at peace and relaxed. Sitting back and taking in the wee squeals of joy, laughter and splashing of the waves.

Lemon and Lime | In The Kitchen With Pam

Ive truly come to love Sunday’s spent preping for the week and relaxing. A way to recharge my batteries before the week ahead.

My little lady and I did groceries, then came home to clean and put the items away. Many of the fruits now have a waxy residue on them as well as who knows what else. I run a fruit and veggie bath with about 1/4 cup vinegar and 6 drops of my doTERRA Lemon oil. Let them soak for a good 30-60 minutes, pat dry then put in the fridge.

Chipotle dip made with 2 drops each of Lemon and Lime. 1 full tub of greek yogurt with about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of mayo, chili spice, fresh grated garlic and some dried onions. AMAZING flavour! Spicy, fresh flavour!

One of my absolute favourite ways to use our doTERRA Essential Oils is with our (multiple) diffusers. Whether at home or at the office I will typically have it running! I even now have one for my van ;)

CANADA DAY NEWS |Support The Canadian Mental Health Association with doTERRA Essential Oils

On this beautiful Canada Day I have some exciting news to share!!!

Mental health affects each and every one of us in our daily lives. If we are feeling stressed or anxious, worried or upset this affects our overall mental health. Especially if these feelings are pushed aside rather than effectively dealing with them.

I have personally been touched by the ill effects of mental health and am happy to say that Ive come out a MUCH stronger and more confident woman, mama and wife. With having PCOS, Hypothyroidism and Endometriosis these invisible illnesses can wreak havoc on a woman’s hormones, body and emotions in a very loathsome way.

My journey to make a difference with mental health began a few months ago when I teamed up with students from a local university in Kitchener Waterloo with their Pass Kits. I provided doTERRA Wild Orange samples for them to include within the kits. When I first read about this initiative I was drawn to it and wanted to reach out and do more! This began my path to truly make a difference where I can with mental health…

So… my next step was to reach out to the Canadian Mental Health Association which has local offices within my home town and many surrounding towns as well as across Canada!

Tonight the kids requested tacos for supper!

Building a doTERRA Business | The basics with Pam

What does it mean to be a doTERRA Wellness Advocate and Build a Business?

As many do with doTERRA, I began as a User. I wanted to learn about the products and the basics of ‘what are essential oils’.

I soon fell in love having committed to truly giving the oils a fair shot. This meant for me, a major adjustment and one that affected me emotionally and physically. They worked! It was possibly a month of dealing with some major pain, discomfort and overall all unhappy I was feeling. However, I was able to work through all of this and come out stronger!

What I love most about this opportunity is I have chosen something natural, literally taking things back to the basics, teaching my kids there is a better way!

I began to truly feel the difference they were making. This is when I chose to begin sharing with others. When I made this choice, I was already placing a 100PV order every month because we diffuse daily, use the oils for everything, have laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, supplements each and every single month and some of the other health and beauty doTERRA has with their beautiful oils!

‎To earn with doTERRA you must place a 100PV order each month to be paid. As we are using the doTERRA Oils and products which contain the oils daily our monthly order is at least 125PV – which means I also qualify for the free product of the month! My monthly order is called my LRP (Loyalty Rewards Product) Order.

doTERRA rewards all those who have a monthly autoship with points which can be redeemed for free product PLUS we receive our shipping back in points! So for my 125PV order I receive 35.7 back in points to use for free products! With a 100PV order I would receive 30PV back~!

Retail purchases people make on your personal website is 25%.

Unilevel commissions which get higher as the levels go deeper‎. So someone you have on level 2 is 2% whereas someone on level 7 you receive 7% for. Depending on your rank with doTERRA will depend on which earning level you are at.

If you have someone who is a user, however places a 100PV order every month, they will earn income on anyone below them.

If this person has a builder under them who is extremely motivated and reaches the rank of Premier. Unless this user has other ‘legs’ with leaders under them, the highest rank they will ever reach is Elite.

So the builder under the user will always rank advance and grow reaching higher income levels than the user would because they are not designing their team and building with leaders strategically placed under them.

This is sometimes where someone suddenly realizes the financial benefits of doTERRA.

If I enrolled Erin and she simply wants to use the products – she is a user. She loves them and is now using the oils daily in the diffuser and other various reasons, shampoo, conditioner, ‎supplements, facial care, digestive support etc.

I also enrolled Chris who like me realized the success of the products and the potential of earning an income on a journey of becoming financially free.

When enrolled I placed Erin and then Chris below her.

Chris builds up a business with two executive legs and overall volume of 5000.

Chris is under Erin.

Erin has only Chris under her and an over all volume of 5200OV (including Erin’s volume from that month). Erin has Premier volume, however does not have what is required ‎for that rank. So Erin is paid out as an Elite.

Erin realizes she’s missing out and can also benefit from this financial benefit and share the love with others whose own lives can be enriched and healthier emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Erin begins sharing with others and now has two more leaders under her. As she now works up through the ranks her income grows as well!

Fast start 20% bonus. This is what you would receive for everyone who has a doTERRA Membership (enrollment) with you.

What this fast start bonus is for is you committing to helping this person or family learn and become empowered within their own home. If someone has 3 people under them who all place orders every month for 100PV (min.) and the total team volume is 600PV, they would get a $50‎ bonus. If these three people also had three people under them the same, the first person would get $250 and the next person $50. As they go down the levels each would benefit from a higher bonus up to $1500. This way is not typically how teams are built or where the full earning potential comes from. It’s much more challenging to reach these levels unless someone was blessed to find three motivated and inspired leaders who want to jump in on the journey! When this happens there is a stronger potential to earn these bonuses each and every month!
