The light at the end of the tunnel

Anyone who has lived through home renovations will know exactly how this feels… to finally begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel! To say Ive been thankful for my essential oils and Reiki during this time, would quite honestly be an understatement ;)

Its been a busy year of basement reno’s for us and after the unexpected being thrown at us in the first 3 rooms… we took the majority of the summer off to enjoy family time at our family cottage. Back at it this fall with the bathroom reno complete and now the biggest portion being tackled … the rec room!

Good news… I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Still with a lot more work to do – but its all finally falling into place and we are already in absolute love with what we are envisioning and giving us the motivation to keep going!

When I was out on my photo walk on our last summer weekend at the cottage, I literally walked upon this view. It hit me hard, in my heart and soul. When our basement is completely done, this photo is going to be hung HUGE as a reminder of our journey and through all the blood, sweat and tears just how much it was worth to our family in our forever home! <3

Yes my husband and I do have good jobs we both love and are very proud to be a part of. I am the 4^th generation in our family business – its incredible! doTERRA was a unexpected surprise blessing and a vehicle we are using to achieve our dreams. The ability for us to better our own lives as a family in health and wellness, we are also able to become more financially stable. For money to be free of all stress and simply be a welcomed blessing. To also be able to bless the lives of others in their own health and wellness as well as financially. To give back to others in need, support causes very close to our hearts. To enjoy life without our finances being a large focus, live our simple happy life knowing every month our living expenses are covered. Having the opportunity of a life of experiences! In the midst of renovating our forever home, I personally, as well as everyone else in my family has felt the renovation stress. We remind ourselves every day, it’s going to be worth it. To be seeing the fruits of our labour coming out is incredibly rewarding. To know the home we are raising our family in is safe and healthy for them is reassuring. To be able to sit back and enjoy life with our family at home is priceless!

The gift of my doTERRA business, has empowered me as a woman and mom within my own home. To supplement our income to be debt free and give so much more. To travel with my husband as well as our kids. To be secure financially “no matter what” happens in our life with residual income. This is the blessing doTERRA is providing to our family and I know its going to have a very similar impact on yours too!

DIY Dishwasher Detergent with doTERRA Essential Oils

Im loving creating these DIY recipes with my doTERRA Essential Oils! Extremely cost effective and this recipe is very powerful! We have been using this recipe in our dishwasher for the past month and are extremely happy with the results!

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent

Ingredients:

2 cups Baking soda (great all-purpose cleaner)
2 cups Borax (natural cleaner and disinfectant)
1/2 cup Kosher salt or Epsom salt (softens the water)
1/2 cup vinegar (added cleaning power, liquid to help bind the ingredients)
15-20 drops of Lemon essential oil (added cleaning power, antibacterial properties, smells great!)

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together until well blended.

To Use:

Fill the soap dispenser with approx. ¼ cup of the powdered mixture and add a squirt of On Guard Cleaner Concentrate to boost the cleaning power. Add approx. ½ cup of vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher with each load. Add more vinegar if you do not have a water softener.
