Gracefully Move Through Change

It wasn’t that long ago that I was feeling really intensely bogged down by… life!

Tonight while waiting for dinner to finish cooking, I was doing the dishes. I was thinking about how things finally feel like they are truly falling into place.

We made one decision this week – to take a deep breath and not push the final stage of this renovation until the spring. To enjoy as much time as we can during the winter together, which is our “busiest” time.

We all feel more at peace. What I noticed the most though when I was doing the dishes was thinking how much happier I am feeling. Having a “smaller” deadline in front of us, suddenly feels like its attainable and within reach!

Most of all the feeling of TIME!

This week having a couple nights at home to just BE at home. I think that has me happiest of all. Even doing dishes. I was thinking about how change is so hard for me and while doing the dishes thinking I really dislike having to put dishes away. But just as quick as I thought of that I began twisting it in my head… Back to what it should be – that’s why it works SO much better working as a team. Yeah the positive self talk has been hard for me BUT I do LOVE when things are organized, that makes me happy and we are getting SOOOO close! So that makes me happy! My family working as a team, everyone pitching in – especially for things that each of us may not enjoy doing. I don’t mind doing dishes but can I please not put them away? Works for us… simple things like that!

Breaking things down from great BIG “jobs”, “goals”, “projects” into smaller, more manageable steps and goals. Spending time just being.

Yay for POSITIVE self talk!

We are always so quick with negative self talk – completely guilty of that myself. However the more negative you are – the more negativity you attract into your life. Yes shit happens – its happened multiple times in my life’s journey thus far – BUT – its brought me exactly where I am now and where I need to be.

Feeling incredibly blessed in so many ways.

What is interesting… as I was sitting here writing a new blog post, I was taking a break and came across this video by Desiree Mangandog on Facebook – Check out her page its AWESOME!!!.

Ironically… Ive been diffusing a lot of Rosemary during the day, I selected Bergamot at our training this weekend and Ive been using Cedarwood at bedtime alot of nights.

I love being in tune with my body – listening to my body. Loving that we are making TIME for us to just BE – rather than DOING all.the.time! Knowing that its OK!

Knowing what we have on our to-do list but being OK with taking TIME! Such a great feeling. Following my heart and doing what feels right, when it feels right. Knowing that for me change is hard and being ok with making smaller goals and steps to take.

Sometimes all it takes is a little change in perspective, and things suddenly begin falling into place and happening even quicker than you originally thought… and planned ;)

I was blocking my own peace and happiness.

I love that I am finally feeling open, worthy and abundant!

Its a pretty amazing feeling. Now to keep it up… <3 As well as be OK when I hit a dip ;)

Everything does happen for a reason – at times difficult to understand.

What is meant to be, will be. <3

Ive Lost 40lbs and 40″ !!!

When I think of this I get so EXCITED!

I LOST 40LBS AND 40″ FROM MY BODY – AND – I HAVE PCOS & HYPOTHYROIDISM!!!

Im still somewhat in disbelief that I did this… for YEARS I struggled. I would yo-yo back and forth, my physical and emotional health was in jeopardy.

A part of me was scared though. Change is difficult – especially physical change. Truth be told, I didn’t take “before” pictures because I didn’t think it was going to “work”. It took me 2 years to be ready to do a “Cleanse and Restore” and yet its the simplest thing ever!

For those of you who have any kind of invisible illness you will understand its more than just how we physically feel – its our emotions that dictate a lot of what we do, how we feel and how we live our daily life.

BUT I FREAKING DID IT!!!

Whats interesting though is since I did my measurements last weekend and shared my fabulous results in a Facebook Live – Ive noticed Ive still been critical of my body. My “c-section tummy” being a big focus… I actually stopped myself yesterday and literally said to myself in the mirror – What the hell are you thinking?!

Not only has your body gotten pregnant, twice, its also delivered two healthy beautiful children – one by an emergency c-section and one not even 18 months later by VBAC. My “c-section tummy” reminds me of a very hard decision and of my first amazing blessing who came into my life. Without this “tummy” my boy may not be here – SO I am freaking proud of my “c-section tummy”! But its something I know I need to remind myself of all the time.

For anyone who has been through invisible illnesses and infertility you can understand the incredible emotional trauma and hurt one goes through. Yes even many years later. What I am growing through is that this journey has made me into the person I am today. Along my journey there have been people who haven’t stood by me, who haven’t understood or chosen to support me when I needed it most. However there have been ones who have and I can honestly say I am feeling so very blessed, grateful and fortunate to where my journey has brought me today!

Today I am feeling lighter – Physically and Emotionally. I am SO incredibly thankful to these high quality, high vibration essential oils and supplements which have helped to bring my body and mind into balance.

My first Cleanse and Restore was in January/February 2017. I began my 2nd Cleanse and Restore in October/November 2017. By the time I began the 2nd cleanse my weight loss was about 35lbs! Yes 35lbs that I lost AND kept off!!! After this Cleanse and Restore my total weight loss is 40lbs and 40″!!!

What I love about our Cleanse and Restore program is over 30 days our body is completely supported with proper nutrition as a base foundation. You Are The Best Investment!

For many years I was that woman who put her man and children before herself. Even before the children were around. I, for some reason, had a difficult time spending time and money on myself.

Why, as Women do we do that to ourselves? Many of us put the needs of others before ourselves. I can now proudly say I realize how valuable of an investment I am to myself, my husband, my children, family, friends, co-workers, my doTERRA family etc!

Investing in myself – also with something that is “against the grain” was challenging as well for me – BUT it was the best thing I did in my life.

Plus in less than a year Ive lost and successfully kept off over 35lbs – that YES I lost naturally!

For years I pushed it aside, I was very naive about what is in many common products. Being in our family business which is dedicated to home comfort and knowing the quality of the products we provide and have in our home – I began to finally believe with that attitude for myself – if our home is worth having a high quality top of the line furnace, doors and windows so we are comfortable and that are energy efficient – of course our bodies and minds deserve top quality products to use for our health which over time is going to support our body in repair and optimally feeling at our best!
